Group Psychotherapy

Me (left) in high school, circa 2010, in Brooklyn (NY) with my bestest friends. To be seen and in the presence of important people is a true blessing.

Groups are best conducted with 6 - 10 members, when we establish clear goals, guidelines of behavior and limits, and when the shared experience is clear (I will gather and assess all members' readiness for group participation). 8 - 12 sessions is best to build trust and move through phases of group development, but I know groups are not a well known modality, I offer options for 3 - 12 sessions.

Open Educational Groups (60m) $44

Did you know, group therapy began when clinicians realized the side effect of educating patients together was increased hope, community, and decreased loneliness/depression? Something magical happens when we learn together. Join me for learning accurate grief/mental health information - social media can only get you so far. I'll be live and in person! Ask me about your specific situations. Who knows, your presence could inspire someone to make a change.

Open Rolling "Sampler" Group (75) $50
